Thailand uses the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) instead of a paper form. Every non-Thai arrival needs one, children and infants included.
When: from 3 days (72 hours) before arrival.
Cost: free, only at tdac.immigration.go.th. Avoid look-alike sites that charge a fee.
One card per entry. Transit passengers who don't pass immigration don't need one.
In 2026 Thailand cut visa-free stays for many countries to 30 days. Some nationalities, including Korea, keep 90 days under bilateral agreements, so check the rule for your own passport.
STEP 2 · IMMIGRATION
Immigration
Follow the Arrival / Immigration signs. Have your passport and your TDAC confirmation ready on screen. Officers may ask for your onward ticket and hotel address.
STEP 3 · BAGGAGE
Baggage claim
After immigration, check the screens for the belt number next to your flight.
Bag didn't arrive? Report it before you exit customs, at your airline's Lost & Found counter inside baggage claim. Keep the report (PIR) and your bag tag, and take photos of both — you'll need them for any claim.

SIM cards: AIS, True and dtac counters in the arrivals area. An eSIM bought before you fly works the moment you land.
ATMs: foreign cards usually pay 220 THB per withdrawal. Check the fee on screen and withdraw enough at once.
STEP 6 · LATE NIGHT
Landing late at night
The Rail Link stops around midnight. After that, use the 24-hour official taxi queue. Showing your hotel address in Thai makes it much easier, so save your booking or a map screenshot before you land.
